Program Participants

The UA Archives program would not be possible without the participation of several dedicated individuals and organizations, and the Upper Arlington Public Library wishes to thank them for their support. Our partnership with the Upper Arlington Historical Society was pivotal in getting the program off the ground, as they enthusiastically accepted our proposal to catalog and place their community archives online. They graciously provided access to their rich collection of archival materials, as well as invaluable historical and architectural information. The Grandview Heights Marble Cliff Historical Society also kindly loaned us several issues of the Norwester magazine that were missing from the Upper Arlington Historical Society’s collection.

In addition, members of the Upper Arlington Public Library staff have put in countless hours digitizing and cataloging the items in these online collections. They have scanned documents and photographs, digitized oral history cassette recordings, created transcriptions to provide full-text searching capabilities, and researched and cataloged each item.
