ACTIVE SUPPORTER OF OSU ATHLETICS AND COLUMBUS PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL. CASTO BUILT THOUSANDS OF HOMES, APARTMENT PROJECTS AND INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS THROUGHOUT THE U.S. IDEAS SPAWNED THE ERA OF THE CONTEMPORARY SHOPPING CENTERS. DEVELOPED THE FIRST REGIONAL SHOPPING CENTER (TOWN AND COUNTRY) IN THE WORLD. ALSO DEVELOPED CENTERS ON THE MALLWAY AND ON WEST FIFTH AVENUE. A VISIONARY FOR THE FUTURE OF AVIATION IN COLUMBUS. SERVED ON THE ORIGINAL COLUMBUS AIRPORT COMMISSION. INNOVATIONS HELPED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT. MARRIED FOR 42 YEARS TO WIFE, RUTH. LIVED IN UPPER ARLINGTON FOR 34 YEARS.
