About this collection

View local farms in the 1800s, and see how many family names you can recognize as Upper Arlington's present-day street names; trace the growth of our city as we added new neighborhoods through annexation; and explore the Upper Arlington Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. In this collection of historically significant maps, the City of Upper Arlington has provided maps depicting the community's annexation history and historic district, and the Upper Arlington Public Library has added historic plat maps from its own collection.

  • To browse a chronological list of all maps in this collection, go to the Browse link in the navigation bar at the top of this page.
  • To adjust the zoom level, use the zoom and fit buttons located at the top of the image viewer.
  • To increase the viewer area, click and drag its sizing handles at the bottom and right until the viewer reaches the desired size.
  • To move an image within the viewer, click and drag on the image area.
